I managed to take advantage of some pleasant weather this week with a couple of rambles around the small village of Tidenham; see my Villages page here, and to a place I've been wanting to visit for a while, Clanna Ponds. This provided me with a new Picture Story in the shape of Ron the fisherman; read about him on my Picture Story page here.

An old railway tunnel has reopened as a walkway/cycle way from Chepstow to Tintern in the Wye Valley. I walked it today and and captured a few images. The lighting is low level due to bats in the tunnel so all of the tunnel shots were taken at ISO 12500; SL2 + 24-90. You can read about the tunnel here: https://www.southwalesargus.co.uk/.../19198146.tidenham.../
Our local village was partially closed off this week whilst an episode of the popular TV series Casualty was filmed. The scene involves an incident on the railway crossing with a classic MGB GT and a young girl in sixties costume. There must have been more than 50 crew and security people with only three or four actors. Although 'challenged' by security I managed to get few photo's of the proceedings.
