R16 Photo Workshop
I decided to create a page on my website dedicated to my favourite Porsche pictures, and back in July I posted a link in our our Regions' WhatsApp Group in case anyone was interested in looking at them. The response was very surprising, as several members were not only complimentary of my photos, but asked if I could share my ideas and techniques with them. I suggested I could organise a simple workshop for those interested, and with support from Stuart Ings and Paul Salter, who arranged a venue which was funded by R16, I produced a format for a morning which included a short presentation from me on how I approach my photography, followed by a 'photo shoot' of our cars in the car park, then returning to the meeting room to load up some of the images and discuss post-processing techniques.
So on Sunday the 4th September, a dozen R16 members met at Stanton Manor Hotel in Wiltshire, and a very enjoyable morning it was. It was great to meet up with members whose interest's were also both in cars and photography. As anticipated, there was a variety of knowledge ranging from phone users to experienced professionals, and everyone chipped in to share their knowledge and experiences. I have included a few of the photographs taken on the day, as well as a link to the presentation for those who may be interested.
