Dursley Rotary Club Car Drive
The Dursley Rotary Club classic and car drive is an annual event helping to raise funds to support local, national and international charities. This years event attracted over 80 entries and on beautiful, very warm summers day took us on a route from Dursley through Stinchcombe, Berkley, Sharpness, then over the bridge into the Forest of Dean. Following a short coffee break at the White Hart, Broadoak on the banks of the Severn Estuary, we made our way back around Over and through some pretty Gloucestershire villages before returning for a lovely lunch at our starting point at Rednock School; each entrant received a Certificate on completion which was a nice touch. A great day, excellently organised by Graham Peake, Peter Mack and their support team.
