TIPEC - Jurassic Weekend

Ferry Porsche and his new passenger Dino was on hand to welcome our fellow trippers at our rendezvous point at Sainsbury's, Chippenham, before travelling onto Sandbanks, Dorset, via Shaftesbury and Christchurch. Unfortunately, our organisers Tracy and Al were sidelined by the dreaded 'positive test', and missed out on some great drives, food and the usual revelry. Many thanks to Charles, Sarah and Sharon for helping with the organisation over what was a very full and enjoyable weekend. The typical English weather provided a combination of 'top-down' sunshine on Friday, wellie-weather on Saturday, and a mixture of both on Sunday. Nineteen cars made the trip, creating some eye-catching moments as we drove through the various seaside resorts. My highlight was enabling the Le Pisani restaurant owners nine-year old son Jack, get his photo taken with his favourite cars, and giving him an open-top ride before we set off on Sunday morning; even if he did tell me the best car he'd been in was "only a Lamborghini".
