My camera club supports Viney St. Swithins Football Club by asking volunteer members to photograph matches for their social media pages. I recently joined that group and yesterday was my first attempt at serious sports photography for a long time as Viney took on English Bicknor who are two divisions higher, in a friendly. The match was very entertaining with Viney grabbing a stunning late equaliser to grab a 2-2 draw. Here are a selection of my images.

Pleased again to have my image of a Cutleaf Teasel accepted into the Leica Gallery  It's been quite a while since I added a village to my Villages Of The Forest of Dean project. Yesterday I visited the small but pretty village of Staunton which is the last village before entering into Wales. You can view the project here. My recent photo of canoes on the River Wye has been accepted by the Leica Fotografie International Gallery in the category of Symbols and Structures. This category seems to be my forté as four out of six accepted entries have been placed there. The others can be viewed on my LFI page here. |
