Seniors Shotgun Start and Prize Giving
Fifteen teams took part. The winning team with 119 pts were Mike Connon, Alex Harvey, Jim Fairweather and Alan Ayling. Each player receiving £10 winnings. In 2nd with 113 pts was the team of Geoff Norris, Mike Steward, Pete Walters and Bob Gibson receiving £7 each. Third place paying £3 each went to Robin Leamon, Bill Peffers, Roger Salter and Chris Hobbs, on 110 pts.
A NTP on the 14th was held in aid of Captains Charity, raising £50. The large Whisky bottle prize was won by Pete Walters. Thanks to all who contributed.
Following the competition, the Aberdare prizes were presented. This was followed by prize-giving for the 2nd half of the season.
Final comment, is that we all enjoyed the opportunity to meet up as a group.
