Fallen Trees

I've recently been captivated by the fallen trees that are scattered throughout the forest as a result of either natural causes, disease, weather, or by control by the Forestry Commission.  Over time the shapes, patterns and textures formed by the trees and the growth of moss and lichen, create some unusual shapes which combined with various lighting conditions makes for some interesting images.  I continue to look and find new 'sculptures' which will be added to this portfolio over time.
