Baby Boomers Night Event, Forest Hills G.C, Friday 6th May
Firstly, a BIG thanks to everyone who attended, to the fabulous retro outfits and some really cool dance moves. The night was great fun. Please take a look at the picture gallery below.
This was my first attempt at a 60’s/70’s night, a concept that I’d been thinking of over a number of months initially targeted at just ‘seniors’ who fall into the ‘Baby Boomers’ category, but soon decided that it has a much wider appeal, such that I changed from the original criteria of over 50’s to anyone over 18.
I wanted to include a range of activities which I hoped would be fun including the dance and dress competitions, a quiz and feature some live music along with the original music, plus simple 60’s/70’s style food.
It's fair to say that there were a few technical and operational glitches on the night, so there has been a number of lessons learned for the future. To this end I would appreciate if you would take a couple of minutes to complete a very short survey below, so that we can improve your enjoyment for future events.
