LAGO TRASIMENO - Day four of our holiday took us to the shores of Lake Trasimeno in the province of Perugia on the border with Tuscany. The lake is the fourth largest in Italy, At the lakeside town of Passignano we practiced our landscapes and seascapes using neutral density filters to create a smooth effect of the water. We then took a boat trip to Isola Maggiore which s the only inhabited island on the lake with a current population of 35 and explored the enchanting village, a walk to the 12th century Church of Saint Michael the Archangel for stunning views across the lake, followed by a lovely lunch at Ristorante L'Oso.
